Hourly Paid Lecturer - Mathematics (GCSE/Essential Skills)
Salary: £21.50 - £42.31 per hour
12 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE Mathematics (WJEC) and Essential Skills to learners, employing innovative strategies to engage learners and help them fulfil their potential.
• Prepare and assess learners within the delivery timeframe, upholding quality assurance and assessment standards.
• Contribute to a diverse and inclusive learning environment, reflecting on and developing new approaches to learning.

Qualifications and Experience

• A qualified teacher with experience of teaching WJEC GCSE Mathematics.
• Innovative strategies to engage learners and help them reach their potential.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure successful outcomes within the delivery timeframe.
• Understanding of quality assurance and assessment.
• Understanding of diverse learner needs.
• Experience of teaching Essential Application of Number is desirable.
• The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
