Overview

This is a temporary job on a Fixed Term Contract starting on 15 October 2025 and ending on 15 January 2026.

Role overview

What the Boom Host does: one of the best roles in the hospitality industry. You could be hosting a Shuffleboard competition, showing someone’s grandparents how to throw an axe, hosting a Corporate Party or a mega full venue hire, hosting Hens and Stags, and creating truly epic, unforgettable moments for guests. You’ll be the life of the party, ready to seize every opportunity and be the venue guru on all things Boom. You’ll know our gaming rules inside out through training with extraordinary team members and be fluent in explaining them to guests. We aim to make people’s day, create the unexpected, and spark moments that light the fuse and get the party started.

Responsibilities

• Host a range of events and activities (e.g., games, competitions, parties, private venue bookings) to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Learn and explain Boom Battle Bar and Escape Hunt gaming rules to guests and team members.
• Engage with guests to deliver exceptional service and ensure a high-energy, enjoyable atmosphere.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute events and ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
