Job summary

A prominent healthcare provider is seeking enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistants to join their dispensary team at the new Midland Metropolitan Hospital and Sandwell General Hospital. Candidates should demonstrate basic Maths and English skills, alongside a willingness to undertake NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services. Qualifications

• Demonstrate basic levels of Maths and English.
• Willingness to undertake NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services.
• Relevant experience working in a hospital or community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patient/customer facing role at the reception desk.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams and provide high-quality care.
• Participate in weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Skills

Excellent communication written and verbal

Experience in using computer application

Education

NVQ2 in Pharmacy services

GCSEs at level C/4 or equivalent including maths, english and science

Tools

Automated pharmacy system (Rowa, Pyxis or similar)
