Care Assistant – UK Visa Sponsorship

Become a member of our family-run business, which has our carers at its core, and join our multi-award winning team. We are looking for sensitive and kind homecare assistants who are currently in the UK and are looking for sponsorship.

With branches in Ilkeston, Long Eaton, and Ripley, we are headquartered in Derbyshire.

Important information for applicants for sponsorship

Although pre-screening interviews and application reviews are now underway, second-round interviews for Sponsorship candidates won’t start for another two to three months. Only if this time works for you should you apply. I appreciate your patience.

Principal Duties

• Delivering excellent care and assistance to people who live in their own homes
• Helping customers with grooming, dressing, and bathing
• Taking care of domestic duties such as laundry and food shopping
• Making and serving food at the right times
• Organising and delivering medication
• Working together with other medical and social workers to deliver the highest quality of care
• Completing thorough, accurate, and truthful visitation notes.

Knowledge, abilities, and proficiency

• A minimum of one year’s experience providing care
• Possession of your own car and a valid UK driver’s license
• To demonstrate empathy in the workplace
• A cooperative team player with excellent listening abilities
• Positivity towards coworkers and the workplace
• Leading by example and providing positive role models for one another and the community.

What we provide

• Full-time schedule: at least 39 hours per week are guaranteed. You would be required to work a combination of morning, lunch, tea, and bed calls every day under this arrangement.
• Pay rates are competitive: £12.82 per hour, covering weekends and weekdays, plus £2.10 for each residence you visit.
• Employer contributions to a pension
• Continuous Training: This includes completing your Care Certificate, Advanced Dementia and End of Life training in your first year, four days of paid continuing professional development to use annually, and a week of induction training at our award-winning training centre (for which you will get £425).
• Supportive management, including round-the-clock on-call assistance
• Snacks and breakfast in the workplace for hectic days
