A community-led care organization in rural Perthshire seeks a Home Care Manager to oversee the development and delivery of high-quality home care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing care services and a commitment to supporting rural communities. Heartland Cares is a start-up social enterprise providing home care in rural Perthshire. We are seeking a Home Care Manager to shape and drive this new innovative initiative. Based in the Rannoch and Dunkeld & Birnam areas, the role offers the chance to build a new model of community-led care that enhances services in remote rural areas.
Post title: Registered Home Care Manager
Salary: £45,000 pa
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Hybrid working – in community settings (Rannoch & Tummel, Dunkeld & Birnam, Perthshire) and home-based
Pension: 6.5% employer contribution
Holidays: 25 days per year, plus public holidays
We’re looking for a people-focused leader with experience in managing care services, developing teams, and working with partners. You’ll already hold (or be willing to gain) the qualifications needed to register with the SSSC, and you’ll be confident managing budgets and service delivery.
