A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support their client on an initial 6-month contract. This full-time position involves safeguarding commercial interests, leading client relationships, and managing the transition from tender to live operations. Responsibilities

• Safeguard the commercial interests of the delivery team.
• Lead and manage relationships with Total Waste Management clients.
• Mentor and support staff within the commercial team.
• Review tender documents, identifying risks and accountabilities.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies pre- and post-tender.
• Lead the transition from tender award to live operations.
• Identify and manage commercial risks across contracts.
• Advise on contract conditions, variations, and commercial issues.
• Negotiate contract agreements and manage contractual obligations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT, FIDIC or similar contract forms

Ability to draft, amend, and negotiate contract clauses

Proven experience in client management and stakeholder engagement
