Job summary

A leading educational agency in Hereford is seeking an experienced HLTA to provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This role offers flexible work allowing you to balance your commitments while making a meaningful impact in a primary school. Ideal candidates will have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification and previous UK school experience. The position includes competitive pay of £100 to £105 per day, holiday pay, and additional training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Previous UK school experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Confidence in supporting the Class Teacher and delivering learning independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver lessons.

  • Support children's academic, social, and emotional development.

Job description

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for flexible work in a small village Primary School setting? This exciting HLTA opportunity allows you to enjoy the variety of day‑to‑day supply while still making a real difference in the classroom. With the chance to work around your own commitments and experience a great work life balance, this role is ideal for someone who wants to support both pupils and the Class Teacher across Reception, KS1 and KS2.

Job Role:
  • Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver small group and whole class sessions.
  • Cover lessons when required, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual pupils.
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment in line with school policies.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Previous UK school experience is essential.
  • Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) as a TA or HLTA.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments within a Primary School.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in supporting the Class Teacher and delivering learning independently.
