Hire Direct Customer Contact Lead

Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week

Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role within Hire Direct?Speedy Hire is looking for an Customer Contact Leadto drive operational success, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure top-tier safety and performance

As an Customer Contact Lead, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the operational efficiency and leadership of Hire Direct. You'll be responsible for:

  • Oversee daily operations for Hire Direct, ensuring smooth and efficient order processing, allocation, and delivery.
  • Implement and maintain operational best practices, ensuring adherence to Speedy Hire's policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Drive consistent service levels, ensuring on-time delivery and collection targets are met.
What you'll need:
  • Proven operational management experience of a large team across multiple sites
  • Be able to deliver sustained growth and profitability through operational effectiveness and service excellence regionally
  • Evidence of attained sales and profitability growth
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise work load and work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent understanding and experience of managing Health and Safety practices at work
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
  • Driving licence
Desirable:
  • Previous hire industry experience
  • Local area knowledge of the market and sectors
