Job description

Highways Labourers – Plymouth

Our clients require Highway Labourers to work with and assist qualified operatives.

Due to the nature of the industry each role would require a certain flexibility and must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to carry out work to a high standard
• Good communication skills
• Good timekeeping skills
• Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours
• Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request
• Ability to always maintain Health and Safety standards
• A “can do” and responsible attitude to work.
• Have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Minimum 1 year driving experience
• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test on induction
• CSCS, Street works, or Traffic Management qualifications are desirable, but consideration is given for those without

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday, days or nights with some weekend and bank holidays when required.

Rate of Pay

£13.00-13.50 per hour depending upon experience.

Position Type
