Vision for Education is recruiting on behalf of one of our partner schools for a dedicated and flexible educator to join the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to support Key Stage 2 pupils on a part-time basis.

Role

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Part Time (Blackburn, Lancashire)

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Part Time based in Blackburn, Lancashire to start in January 2025 and continue through to the end of the 2025/26 academic year. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant role will involve covering PPA across different mixed‑age group classes in Key Stage 2, on a part‑time basis (up to 2 days per week). Typically, the Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be required on a Wednesday, with potential flexibility for additional days depending on staff absence. Applicants with a Level 4 qualification are desirable. However, we are also open to a qualified teacher applying, or a Level 3 qualified TA with teaching experience and aspirations to work as an HLTA.

• Enthuse, motivate and engage learners in mixed-age Key Stage 2 classes.
• Confidently deliver PPA cover across a variety of subjects.
