Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Location: Droylsden. Salary: Dependent on experience. Contract: Full-time. Start Date: Sept 2025.

Are you a highly motivated and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for an exciting and varied role? We are seeking a flexible and proactive HLTA to join a welcoming school in Droylsden, supporting pupils across all key stages and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across different key stages
• Supporting individual and small-group learning to help pupils reach their potential
• Adapting to different classrooms and year groups, ensuring a smooth learning experience for pupils
• Assisting with planning and assessment to support teaching staff
• Helping to manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA qualification or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with the ability to lead whole-class learning
• Confidence in delivering pre-planned lessons across all year groups
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a busy school environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with teachers and staff
