A local educational institution in Bury is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students facing medical challenges. Cloughside College is seeking an excellent and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to support young people who are temporarily unable to access mainstream education due to medical needs.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting reintegration into school. You’ll deliver a blend of face‑to‑face and online lessons to a cohort of 1,215 students each week, working closely with an Assistant Headteacher to provide a curriculum that promotes recovery, progression, and future aspirations.

The appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS and barred list check; two satisfactory references; occupational health report and right to work in the UK. We will conduct an online search of shortlisted candidates in line with KCSIE 2025.
