  • Tail lift & double-deck maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
  • Complete Job Sheets and Documentation.
  • Liaise with the Service Department and Parts Department.
  • Complete MOT preparation.

Skills

Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles
EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)
Welding certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs)
Job description
Overview

We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive transport solutions provider based in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 23+ days holiday plus bank holidays (option to buy/sell extra days)

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements
  • Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
