Overview

Location: Basingstoke RG24 8PL

Salary: £34,997.02 per annum + excellent benefits

Full time: 40 hours per week

Working hours: Monday – Friday 6.00am – 2.30pm with occasional Saturday work and Bank Holidays.

Ready to make an impact? As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Hart team, you will provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Basingstoke. You will work with a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff to keep streets, homes and businesses clean, safe and tidy, while delivering the highest levels of customer service.

Responsibilities
  • You will set off on a pre-planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
  • You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
  • Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure vehicle safety checks are completed and that the truck is clean and work-ready.
