Qualifications

• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Previous waste/recycling driving experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Driving a trade waste vehicle on scheduled collection routes.
• Collecting commercial waste bins safely and efficiently.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly.
• Keeping accurate records of collections and vehicle use.
• Following all health & safety procedures.

Overview

Location: Edinburgh

Hours: 40-50 hours per week with overtime options available

Rate of Pay: £16.74

• Driving a trade waste vehicle on scheduled collection routes
• Collecting commercial waste bins safely and efficiently
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
• Keeping accurate records of collections and vehicle use
• Following all health & safety procedures and road safety regulations

Qualifications

• A full, valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• A great attitude and commitment to performing the job to the highest standard.
• Previous waste/recycling driving experience is preferred, but not essential - we provide comprehensive training.
