Job description

HGV(C) Class 2 driver required for immediate start in Wilstead, Bedford

Our client, a leading supplier of chilled, ambient and frozen goods, require a HGV (C) Class 2 driver to support their delivery team. As a HGV (C) Class 2 driver, you will be helping our client maintain their reliable service by delivering to sites within a radius of 40 miles from Bedford. This opportunity is Temp-Perm with 12 weeks full time work through us before transferring over to our client on a permanent basis.

Shift Pattern:

• 5am starts.
• Tuesday - Saturday.
• 40 hrs a week minimum.

HGV Class 2 Driver Responsibilities:

Multi drop role (4-10 drops depending on distance) delivering to the Hospitality Industry (Restaurants, Pubs) and Schools. There will be some manual handling involved, as you will be handballing the goods with sack barrow to the customers. You will be working in an environment where safety, performance and efficiency is key.
