Job description

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to work for our clients across the SK postcode. As the busy season approaches we are looking to expand our team. We have work available Monday - Friday and have various contracts available such as multi-drop, flatbed, and general haulage work with roughly 50 clients supplied on a weekly basis.

We can also offer work to drivers only looking for part-time work and can be fully flexible around the days you wish to work.

Duties of this HGV Driver will include:

1. Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly while obeying all traffic laws.
2. Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.
3. Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle when necessary.
4. Good communication with Branch Managers on daily progress.

Client Requirements:

1. Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2).
2. Valid CPC and Digital Tacho.
3. 6 months of relevant driving experience.
4. No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's).

PAY RATES:

PAID WEEKLY VIA PAYE

£15.68ph- Minimum 8 hours paid
£20.91ph overtime- Paid after 8 hours
This rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rate; if you wish to accrue these separately then this rate will become £14.00ph and £18.66ph overtime.
