A heritage organization is seeking a Heritage Engagement Officer to develop and deliver educational programmes for school groups and families. The role is part-time, 20 hours over 3 days, based at Abbotsford in the Scottish Borders. Ideal candidates will have experience in heritage engagement and will be responsible for creating resources and activities for learners of different ages.

We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience in developing and delivering learning or engagement programmes in a heritage setting.
Part time at 20 hours over 3 days – one year (with possibility for extension).
Salary: £13,800 (pro rata FTE £24,151 – Grade 3).
Location: Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott in the Scottish Borders.
Abbotsford is a heritage site designed and built by Sir Walter Scott, opened to the public in 1833 and continues to inspire visitors.
