Overview

Nature of Work - Purely Scheduled/Planned Service and Maintenance in a concentrated local region - max 30 mins travel time.

Company - Long established, major market leading Heating Manufacturer of boilers and heat pumps, invests in workforce, long term serving and high performing national team with a large install and service team.

Location - Reading (service area up to 30 mins travel time only)

Industry - Boilers, Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHP's, Ground Source Heat Pumps, GSHP's, Renewables, Domestic Heating, FGAS, Electrics, Gas Boilers, Oil Burners.

Candidate - Experienced domestic heating engineer, with hands on experience servicing, fault find and fix on ASHP's and/or Boilers ideally with knowledge of heating and plumbing systems incorporating air source heat pumps. Plumbing and electrical training would be a benefit. Industry recognised FGAS training with a qualification will be given.

The Position

This is a brand-new Heating Service Engineer position, working directly for one of the largest leading Heating Manufacturers in the UK, that has been created due to unprecedented growth. As the Heating Service Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining boilers and an ever increasing amount of air source heat pumps on residential housing projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes, new build or retro fit, through local authorities and housing associations.

  • £45k - £50k + flexible overtime if desired (optional)
  • 42 hours a week (door to door), NO weekend rota and NO call out - all scheduled/planned.

Experience Required

Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating either install or service of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating boilers AND/OR heat pumps - either Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP's) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP's) or other renewable technologies such as solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Furthermore, recognised industry training and further education qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, unvented hot water systems, F-gas, boiler training, heat pumps and electrical training are an advantage. If you have no ASHP expereince but are a highly experienced boiler service technician then please still apply.
