A leading healthcare provider in York is seeking a heart failure specialist nurse to deliver expert care to patients. You will work within a dedicated team, contributing to both in-hospital and community care while engaging in innovative service development. Heart failure doesn’t mind your age or appearance, and it is on the rise. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team exploring ways of supporting patients living with heart failure across the Vale of York. We have been piloting new ways to improve management of heart failure in both the acute setting and the community, with a view to shaping the future of heart failure nursing management. This post will allow us to expand and develop the services we offer, providing the chance to be involved at the front of an innovative service and to progress knowledge and skills in heart failure while working with committed colleagues.
Support will be provided to work towards the heart failure specialist nurse competency framework set by the British Society of Heart Failure.
