A leading NHS Trust in Norwich is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker for the Denton Ward. The role involves monitoring patients, providing care, and working collaboratively with nurses and healthcare professionals. An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team of nurses, working within Sir Thomas Browne Colorectal Surgical Unit on Denton ward at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Denton is a 23-bedded inpatient ward specialising in general and colorectal surgical care, working collaboratively with surgeons and allied health professionals to provide innovative and compassionate care for our patients. This is an exciting and progressive care group which is continuously adapting to meet and enhance the care provided to our patients.
We want all our staff to achieve a balance between work and personal life and understand how important flexible working can be. We currently use a preference rostering system, which allows our colleagues to have a say in their shift patterns.
You will need enthusiasm, kindness, compassion, and confidence as you will be expected to work with a diverse set of acutely unwell people who each require an individual, holistic approach to meet their day-to-day care needs. Daily responsibilities will include:
