An exciting opportunity has arisen on C18B for an HCA full or part time. As an HCA you will be expected to assist in maintaining the highest possible standard of care under the supervision of a Registered nurse. To maintain a tidy and welcoming environment for patients and relatives. The staff will be involved with many members of the MDT. The ward is a busy, modern unit with a professional but friendly team delivering high standards of care. We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, motivated and committed support worker to deliver high quality holistic nursing care to patients and to join our forward thinking and ever developing team. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively as part of the team and deal with complex sensitive information in a professional manner.

Appointments will be made on merit. Based on C18b Royal Blackburn Hospital initially, with the Vascular service moving to Royal Preston Hospital in the near future; therefore this post will move with the service. Salary details: the advertised salary for full-time hours; if less than 37.5 hours per week, the salary will be pro-rata. For posts on Agenda for Change pay-scales, new entrants to the NHS will normally commence on the first pay point of the relevant band.
