Join our Theatre team as a Healthcare Assistant! Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care? We’re looking for compassionate individuals to join our Theatre Department as Healthcare Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a close-knit, supportive team where you'll play a vital role in the safe and smooth running of our theatres. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care for each patient, only ever caring for one patient at a time, ensuring you are always doing your very best for every patient every time.
• Play an essential role in the smooth running of our theatres and help maintain our exceptional levels of care. Theatre HCAs assist the wider theatre team with the safe passage of patients through the surgical pathway.
• Support a 24-hour, seven-day emergency surgical service cross-site; flexibility and a commitment to an on-call shift system are essential, including Maternity Night shifts at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

Qualifications and Development

• GCSEs Grade A-C (9-4) or equivalent in Maths and English are essential to apply.
• Previous experience is desirable; however, relevant training to achieve the required standards will be provided.
• We are welcoming applications from individuals who have completed health-related T-Levels or BTEC Health & Social Care courses.

Workplace

The primary workplace will be The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, with occasional cross-site work depending on clinical need.

Additional Information

• The department currently provides a 24-hour, seven-day emergency surgical service cross-site; on-call shifts and Maternity Night shifts are required.
• As part of the role, you’ll be part of the theatre team ensuring safe passage of patients through the surgical pathway.
