Exeter Hospital | Theatre | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work

Up to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Healthcare Assistant in theatre at our Exeter Hospital, you’ll be highly motivated and enjoy working in a setting that’s constantly changing. You’ll show genuine empathy and find the challenges of theatre work fascinating. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to duties and hours are essential. You must have a Level 2 qualification in healthcare.

As a Healthcare Assistant in theatre, you will:

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is located next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. It features 2 theatres, a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre, and an Endoscopy suite. The hospital has two wards: an inpatient ward with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. Additional facilities include outpatient services, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology, including an MRI scanner. We specialize in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgeries, cardiology (including invasive procedures), general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology. The hospital is known for using the MAKO robot for some joint replacement surgeries.
