A healthcare service provider in Bridgwater is looking for a part-time Healthcare Assistant or Phlebotomist to assist in patient care and health checks. Ideal candidates will hold qualifications in Health and Social Care and possess excellent communication skills. The role offers 16 hours per week and a pay rate starting at £12.65 per hour. North Petherton Surgery (near Bridgwater in Somerset) who are part of Symphony Healthcare Services and the North Sedgemoor Primary Care Network; are looking to recruit a permanent / part time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or Phlebotomist to join their friendly and forward-thinking practice.
Working under the direct supervision of the Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the Healthcare Assistants / Phlebotomists will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
We have 16 vacant hours available and specific working patterns (days and times) will be agreed during the interview process.
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour (Phlebotomist starting rate) or £12.69 per hour (HCA starting rate).
This is an excellent opportunity for people passionate about patient care and who are eager to support individuals in navigating health and care systems, whilst working closely with the clinical teams to improve patient outcomes.
