A local healthcare practice in Wetherby is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support nursing and administrative teams. The candidate will assist in patient treatment, health promotion, and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include conducting health checks, supporting chronic disease management, and ensuring accurate clinical records. The ideal applicant will have experience in healthcare settings and strong communication skills.
This role is advertised as a permanent position based on 20 - 37.5 hours per week.
To support the practice nursing and administrative teams in the delivery of clinical and administrative services, working as part of the practice multi-disciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population.
The Healthcare Assistant will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education whilst also supporting the administrative team on an as-required basis.
You will work as part of a team providing a professional and effective service to patients and colleagues following business policies and procedures, always ensuring accuracy.

We are a four-partner,semi-rural practice, set in the attractive market town of Wetherby. Thepractice serves 12,000 patients and is housed in modern purpose-built premiseswith all the usual facilities for contemporary General Practice, includingwheelchair access and a lift.
Crossley Street follows theModern general practice model and is a total triage practice, utilisingSystmOne and AccuRx. As part of the Wetherby PCN, we have access to a range ofARRS roles staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, care coordinators,and occupational therapists. We also have a paramedic who carries out homevisits and an advanced paramedic who sees patients at the practice.
