Education-Based Health Care Assistant – Supporting Children with Complex Needs

Are you a care worker with experience supporting children, especially those with learning disabilities or complex medical needs? Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s daily life within an educational setting?

We’re recruiting for a Health Care Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in a school environment, providing both medical and emotional support. This is a temporary role with an immediate start, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent position once it opens.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting a child with high medical needs and additional learning needs in a school setting
  • Assisting with personal and intimate care
  • Helping maintain a structured daily routine
  • Working closely with school staff and healthcare professionals
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experienced in care work with children or young people

Pay and Contract

Pay: £90 per day

Permanent salary to be discussed when the role becomes available
