We are seeking a dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Temploy Connection (Healthcare) Limited. This role is vital in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in healthcare settings. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will contribute significantly to enhancing the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assisting with tasks like dressing, undressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Overseeing medication administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed schedules.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), observing and documenting patient conditions, and reporting any changes to senior staff or nurses.
  • Care Planning: Participating in the development and review of care plans, ensuring they are person-centered and reflect individual needs.
  • Supervision and Support: Overseeing junior care workers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their daily duties.
  • Emergency Response: Responding to emergencies, providing first aid, and escalating situations to appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, promoting a clean and comfortable environment, and adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Social and Emotional Support: Providing companionship, engaging in social and recreational activities, and offering emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintaining accurate patient records, completing documentation, and participating in team meetings.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications: Completion of a healthcare support qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care) or equivalent experience.
