A leading healthcare provider is seeking passionate Band 3 Healthcare Assistants to join their Thanet Community Nursing Teams. We are looking for passionate and skilled Band 3 Healthcare Assistants to join our Thanet Community Nursing Teams, based at our brand new state‑of‑the‑art Thanet Health Hub. Full and part‑time positions are available.
The new hub supports the Government’s 10‑year plan, placing community care at the heart of the health system by moving care from hospitals into neighbourhoods and emphasising proactive prevention. Opened in Autumn 2025, the hub houses an NHS community diagnostic centre, a range of community NHS services, a relocated GP surgery and signposting to voluntary sector organisations such as Age UK.
With the view that NHS care will increasingly be community‑based, there has never been a better time to join us.
Health Care Assistants provide care to people at home as part of a care plan agreed with local nursing teams.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will:
Your patients may be any age, but they will often be elderly, recently discharged from hospital, terminally ill or have physical disabilities. As a Band 3 Health Care Assistant you will work as part of a team to keep people safe and well at home, carrying out care plans designed to support people living at home and ensuring they have a good experience.

Additional working pattern: Hours between 08:00 – 18:00, Monday–Sunday.
