Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide health advice and early intervention support to families via telephone, email, and face-to-face contact.
• Triage and respond to clinical queries from parents regarding child development, minor illness, feeding, and maternal mental health.
• Process safeguarding communications, including emails, clinical reports, letters, and notifications.
• Support the Health Business Centre clinical duty team, ensuring smooth delivery of community health services.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners, including GPs, midwives, perinatal mental health services, and social workers to ensure continuity of care.

About You

• NMC-registered Health Visitor (Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification essential).
• Proven experience in delivering child health services and safeguarding within a community setting.
• Strong communication, triage, and assessment skills.
