Overview

Title: Health & Safety Manager/Supervisor

Type: Contract (approx. 12-18 months)

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £50,000 - £90,000

Details: Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager/Supervisor on a contract for approximately 18 months. The role will be primarily site based in Invergordon with transport available on a daily basis from Inverness if required.

Summary

This role focuses on ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within projects, particularly in construction and engineering.

Duties

• Conduct site inspections
• Advise on risk assessments
• Support the investigation of incidents to improve safety performance and promote a strong safety culture

Person Specification

Education: A relevant degree in environmental health or a related field, Professional diploma including IOSH and NEBOSH or equivalent.

Experience: Experience in HSE management systems and a strong understanding of construction-related health and safety practices are beneficial.

Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills, the ability to promote a positive safety culture, and a proactive approach to health and safety are important. Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
