Job description

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) department as an Officer! Your role is to support the HSE function by monitoring and promoting a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and encouraging a positive safety culture. The health and safety of our colleagues remains the most important goal of the organisation; to this end you will need to be influential at all levels of the organisation—from the Board room to operational level, and across all process areas. You will assist in the implementation of health and safety standards across sites and field‑based operations, ensuring day‑to‑day compliance with legislation and company requirements. Working closely with managers, supervisors, and colleagues, you will provide guidance, monitoring, and support to encourage a strong safety culture, helping to embed best practice into daily operations. You will contribute to incident reporting and investigation processes, support audit and inspection activities, and assist in maintaining effective communication with external bodies when required.

Education Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Level 6 NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH membership is preferred but not essential.

39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1‑hour lunch break.
