A leading renewable energy firm is seeking an HSE Advisor to manage Health, Safety & Environment performance across multiple projects. In this permanent, remote role based in the UK, you will lead HSE strategy, conduct audits, and promote a safety culture. Ideal candidates will have a NEBOSH qualification, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in renewable energy sectors, and excellent IT skills. We are looking for an HSE Advisor to lead, develop, and assure Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) performance across a growing portfolio of wind, solar, and energy storage assets.
This is a permanent, remote UK-based role with occasional travel to operational sites.
Lead HSE strategy, policy development, and compliance across renewable energy assets.
Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments, including client-facing and third-party audits.
Provide expert guidance to operational teams and represent the organisation in client meetings.
Develop, monitor, and report on HSE KPIs, contractor management, PPE, and training programs.
Drive incident and accident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Promote a positive safety culture across the organisation and deliver internal training sessions.
Monitor national and international HSE legislation and ensure compliance.
NEBOSH qualification (National General Certificate or Diploma) or working towards, and membership of IOSH (Technical or Graduate).
Minimum 3 years’ HSE experience in wind, solar, or energy storage operations.
Knowledge of UK HSE legislation, including WTSR & CDM, with familiarity of EU and international standards a plus.
Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office) and strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to work proactively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
Remote UK-based role with occasional site visits in the UK and abroad.
