Job description

Our client is a well‑known name within the health and safety consultancy sector who work with a diverse range of cleints across the asbestos, water treatment and air hygiene sectors. They are currently looking to employ an experienced and hard‑working Health & Safety Consultant based in and around the Portsmouth area. Applications from Fareham, Waterlooville, Chichester and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Must have a strong technical/consultancy/management/auditing asbestos/legionella background.
  • Will hold the relevant NEBOSH – CMIOSH certificates – Health & Safety qualifications are essential.
  • Experience within asbestos, legionella, fire and other industries would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policies & procedures.
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Key Tasks:
  • Attend sites including domestic and commercial and undertake various audits/inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams.
  • Undertake Health & Safety risk assessments.
  • Carry out Health & Safety, Staff and Compliance audits, etc.
  • Provide technical support to the company’s clients.
  • Produce comprehensive Audit, Health & Safety and Environmental reports.
  • Conduct Safety Training courses.
