• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with HSE targets and act as the link with the Saica group.
• Coordinate site Safety Framework activities and assessments.
• Manage site Risk Assessment and Behavioral Safety Observation programmes.
• Maintain ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 responsibilities.
• Facilitate Monthly HSE Governance steering meetings.

Salary: GBP45,000 GBP52,500 per annum, DOE + Excellent Benefits!

We are now recruiting for an HSE Manager to assume responsibility for ensuring that all legislation is adhered to and SAICA HSE policies and practices are effective.

You will plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures required.

As our HSE Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading compliance with the Company s HSE targets / KPI s and acting as the link on these issues with the Saica group.
• Coordinating site Safety Framework activities and associated assessments & improvement programmes
• Leading site Legal Compliance (and other requirements) programme (H&S & Environmental)
• Leading site Behavioural Safety Observation programme

• Leading site HSE Improvement activity and provides regular updates to Saica group
• Controlling site waste management programme and associated legal responsibilities
• Providing regular updates & advises site Operations team or any aspects related to the safety, environmental or ethical management requirements.
• Attending UK & IE quarterly HSE Governance as site representative.
• Facilitating site HSE Briefings

In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:

• Previous HSE Experience in the packaging manufacturing an advantage.
• 5 years experience in a similar role covering both H&S and environment
• ISO 45001 & 14001 Experience in implementing, maintain and auditing
• NEBOSH
• Fluent English ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and understand both written and verbal work instructions
