JOB TITLE: Health & Safety Administrator - January Start

LOCATION: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset

SALARY: Up to £27,000 PA

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8am till 5pm

We are seeking a process driven and thorough Health & Safety Administrator to join a friendly and down to earth team who are very proud to be working as part of the Hinkley Point C project. This is a full-time role and being offered initially on a temporary basis with the view to become permanent therefore you must be available immediately or on short notice period to be considered for the role.

You will be joining an established Health, Safety & Environment team providing support to the delivery and management teams on site, meeting legislative, parent company and client specific requirements. Ideally this role is suitable for individuals who already have a have a good working knowledge of the construction and civil engineering industry. However, those without industry experience will be supported to succeed in the role.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work within an HS&E team supporting the project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Keep, maintain, and upload records on systems such as SharePoint.
  • Learn and use the client HS&E reporting tool for observations, inspections, and incidents.
  • Maintain HS&E related data, registers, and trackers. i.e. health surveillance, training.
  • Collate and maintain HS&E information from inspections and maintain a weekly action tracker
  • Obtain and collate information for monthly statistical analysis and the production of performance summaries.
  • Produce HS&E guidance posters, bulletins, alerts, and monthly dashboards, presentation slides
  • Adhere to and promote the project values to achieve a positive and safe working environment.
KEY SKILLS
  • Prior administration experience in a similar or supporting post.
  • Excellent advanced IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage however not essential).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and deliver key objectives.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Interest in Health, Safety & Environment.
