A leading law firm in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Associate to join their health advisory and litigation team. You will manage a caseload including inquest and Court of Protection work, providing strategic advice, and engaging in business development activities. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading national teams in health advisory and litigation. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to manage a caseload of inquest and/or Court of Protection work, with opportunities to handle wider healthcare advisory matters. The role primarily involves acting for NHS organisations, but also includes work for independent health and social care providers and local authorities.
The team is nationally recognised for its expertise in mental capacity and mental health law, representing clients in the Court of Protection and at inquests across the country. Successful candidates will have the chance to work on complex, high-profile cases and develop their skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
We will also consider candidates with experience in either medical inquests or Court of Protection work who are keen to broaden their expertise.
