Job summary

A supportive medical practice in Whitstable is seeking a motivated Health Care Assistant to join their clinical team. The role combines general duties within the practice and support for the Dermatology service across East Kent. The position offers 27.5 contracted hours weekly with an hourly rate starting at £12.42, plus benefits including mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a Health Care Assistant or in a healthcare environment.
• Wound Care trained.
• Knowledge of EMIS and ICE systems.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians in a theatre setting with Minor Surgical procedures.
• Assist in measurements of blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
• Take blood samples from patients (phlebotomy).
• Provide health promotion and literature for patients.
