As an HCA, you’ll be at the frontline of patient care, supporting the wider clinical team and playing a vital role in promoting health, delivering hands‑on care, and empowering patients through education and prevention.

Job responsibilities

We’re now looking for a dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our collaborative and supportive clinical team.

What You’ll Do

As an HCA, you’ll be at the frontline of patient care, supporting the wider clinical team and playing a vital role in promoting health, delivering hands‑on care, and empowering patients through education and prevention.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering patient‑centered HCA services in line with practice protocols
  • Collecting and preparing pathology samples (e.g. venepuncture, INR, urinalysis)
  • Administering vaccines and injections (e.g. B12, flu, pneumonia, shingles)
  • Conducting ECGs and supporting chronic disease management
  • Providing wound care, stitch removal
  • Safeguarding adults and children and responding appropriately to concerns
  • Participating in audits and maintaining infection control and stock levels

  • Strong communication skills and a patient‑first approach
