Job description

We are excited to be supporting our client, who are reputable in the care sector and looking for Health Care Assistants in the Fife area.

Our client has received a care inspectorate rating of '5' with the care inspectorate, which they are very proud of.

You will either be interested in working in:

  • Dunfermline area (Oakley, Comrie, Rosyth, Dalgety Bay, Inverkeithing)
  • Lochgelly, Lochore, Cowdenbeath, and Kelty

Reporting into your Team Leader/Manager, you will be providing personal care and support to people who require additional support within their own homes. Key duties will include:

  • Providing support to individuals, helping them to maintain independence in their own homes
  • Promoting independence in daily tasks whilst ensuring policy and procedures are met
  • Supporting and assisting individuals with personal care in accordance with their care plans
  • Supporting individuals in maintaining a clean and tidy home environment

To be suitable for this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the following skills, experience, and key attributes:

  • Being a kind, caring, and compassionate person
  • Having good timekeeping skills and being a reliable person
  • Having your own transport and a valid UK driving licence
  • Having experience within the care sector would be advantageous, but not essential as full training, including induction, will be provided

In return, you will be offered:

  • Full-time hours (part-time available)
  • Rates of pay: Unqualified - £13.75 per hour (Monday - Friday) and £16.25 per hour (Weekends), Qualified - £14.75 per hour (Monday - Friday) and £17.25 per hour (Weekends)
  • 25p per mile
  • Free uniform and PPE provided
  • Fortnightly pay
  • £100 Bonus - Refer a Friend
