Job description

Our client is seeking a Health and Safety officer to work across two sites in the Surrey area on a full-time basis, 52 weeks a year and 37 hours per week. Available for immediate start following a successful interview. (End of January/ early February)

Responsibilities
  • Produce, review and update health and safety, fire safety and related policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture across both campuses.
  • Carry out regular inspections and monitoring to ensure compliane with legislation and safety standards.
  • Provide health and safety advice and training to staff, students and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH qualification or other relevant recognised health and safety qualification.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety, and fire safety legislation.
  • Experience carrying out inspections and risk assessment
  • Communicate effectively among students, staff and stakeholders.
  • Organised and capable of managing priorities between two campuses
