Job Overview

IOSH or NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Manager (or someone from an operational background looking to focus on health and safety required for waste management and recycling operation).

Title: Health & Safety Manager

Salary: 45,000 plus bonus and pension

Location: Blackpool

Responsibilities

• Oversee Health and Safety across a site with multiple functions, RAMS, RIDDOR, Toolbox, LOLER, PUWER Talks, etc.
• Administrate new and revised procedures, deal with the Environment Agency and HSE as required.
• Drive a positive working safety culture in the team.
• Work with the Operations Manager to improve working processes.
• Have a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety Advisor / Compliance Officer experience.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, or a degree in health and safety.
• Excellent IT skills.

Desirable Additional Qualifications

• TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, IEMA.
• ISO Management systems experience.
