Position Overview:

We are seeking a Health & Safety and Fire Consultant to provide comprehensive safety initiatives for our diverse client base. This full-time, permanent role is home-based in Southeast England, with 2-3 days of travel per week.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct Health & Safety audits, identify hazards, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  2. Perform fire risk assessments to mitigate fire hazards and protect lives and property.
  3. Undertake risk assessments and develop controls to minimize workplace hazards.
  4. Create clear safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment.
  5. Provide expert H&S advice and support to clients, empowering them to prioritize employee wellbeing.
  6. Prepare reports and training materials, including IOSH Managing Safely courses, to ensure compliance and awareness.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum NEBOSH Certificate, preferably NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent.
  • TechIOSH or GradIOSH membership, with ongoing professional development towards CMIOSH.
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety qualification or equivalent.
Essential Skills:
  • Experience in a health and safety consultancy environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
