Health and Safety Administrator | Spire Hartswood Hospital - Brentwood | Permanent | Part time | 22.5 hours per week

Spire Hartswood Hospital is looking to recruit a HS Administrator to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Engineering department, on a permanent basis. In this role you will support the Health and safety officer and ensure compliance with key safety protocols across the facility.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and Maintain the health and safety management system and associated records.
  • Collate, review, and report on health and safety incidents, including trends and near misses
  • Respond to and redirect health and safety queries professionally and efficiently
  • Update and distribute local health and safety policies and arrangements
  • Maintain the Hospital-Wide Action Plan and follow up on outstanding actions
  • Coordinate and administer Health & Safety Training and monitor e-learning compliance
  • Take minutes for Health & Safety meetings, including Water, Fire, and Waste Management
  • Assist in conducting quarterly health and safety inspections across the hospital
  • Ensure adequate induction and safety training for all new and existing staff
  • Support audits and address health and safety inquiries from external enforcement agencies.
