A unique opportunity to lead a school on a transformational improvement journey.

We are seeking an exceptional and inspirational Headteacher to lead our partner SEN school into its next chapter. This is a rare chance to take forward a school with a proud history and enormous potential, guiding it through an exciting period of improvement and renewal.

Our partner school supports children and young people with a range of complex Special Educational Needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties, and profound and multiple learning disabilities. We are committed to providing outstanding provision that enables every pupil to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Following a recent period of challenge, the school is now firmly focused on rapid and sustainable improvement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rebuild a fantastic SEN school, creating a culture of high expectations, strong safeguarding, excellent teaching, and genuinely inclusive practice.

We are looking for a Headteacher who:

  • Is an exceptional leader with proven experience in school improvement
  • Brings passion, resilience, and unwavering commitment to SEND education
  • Can inspire and develop staff at all levels, building a united and positive culture
  • Values strong relationships with pupils, families, staff, and the wider community
  • Has the strategic expertise to deliver high-quality education and outstanding outcomes
  • Will lead with integrity, ambition, and compassion

You will be fully supported by a committed senior team, a proactive trust/board, and dedicated staff who want the very best for every child. Together, you will reshape the future of the school and ensure it becomes a place where pupils can achieve, belong, and succeed.

If you are excited by the opportunity to make a measurable difference and to lead a school through meaningful transformation, we would be delighted to hear from you.
