Qualifications

Elizavet is an independent, compassionate, and ethical veterinary clinic in London. We provide medical, routine, and advanced surgical treatments for dogs and cats, supported by a collaborative team and state-of-the-art facilities.

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with proven leadership skills, excellent communication, and an empathetic approach to team management. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead, inspire, and develop a growing team of seven, while maintaining a strong clinical presence.

You will work closely with the Practice Director, Practice Manager, and Veterinary Surgeons to ensure outstanding patient care and operational excellence. The role is approximately 70% clinical and 30% administrative.

Hours: Full-time, with a friendly rota – just 1 in 4 Saturdays and absolutely no out-of-hours.

Key Focus Areas
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Guide, support, and inspire RVNs, Student Nurses, and Veterinary Care Assistants.
  • Training & Development: Run nursing clinics, deliver in-house CPD, and mentor student nurses.
  • Operational Support: Optimise workflows, maintain clinical standards, and support rota management.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the leadership team to deliver an efficient, seamless patient journey.
Responsibilities include

  • Overseeing recruitment and induction of new RVNs and VCAs (with admin support provided).

  • Managing inventory and placing orders.
