Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Technical Support for an expanding software and systems service provider.

The main purpose of the role will be to lead and grow the technical support function ensuring excellent customer service and technical assistance. You will lead support operations and manage a large team ensuring the delivery of both software and electro‑mechanical support functions.

You will encourage continuous improvement and develop processes and tools in the team.

As well as operational management you will also develop and improve your team as well as produce reporting and insights on performance.

Candidates will have experience and skills in the following:

  • Extensive leadership / management experience in a technical support environment
  • Knowledge of support tools and best practice including proficiency in the use of JIRA
  • Worked in a fast paced environment
  • Past technical experience
  • Worked in a service based environment
  • Past experience in the Distribution, Logistics or Warehouse Management sector would be highly desirable

The role will be office based 2-3 days per week and 2-3 days from home.

The package on offer is £75,000 – £87,000 per year plus benefits including bonus.
