Head of Sales – Managed Services and Outsourcing
Location: Nottingham with UK travel
Salary: £85k plus bonus, car, LTIPs
Job Type/Hours: Full time

Our client is a well-known Managed Services and Outsourcing business and has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales to join their team.

About The Company:

Our client is a well-known Managed Services and Outsourcing business operating nationally from their East Midlands based head offices. They have a turnover of £11m and employ around 75 staff currently. They have an excellent reputation for service delivery and consistently get very high satisfaction scores despite growing quickly in recent years.

Head of Sales – The Role:

Due to their continued success, they are now looking for someone to drive their sales growth to the next level by defining the 3–5-year business plan and delivering the sales strategy across the business.

This role is a high-level contact sales role focussed on delivering new clients as well as growing existing clients.

Head of Sales – Key Responsibilities:

  • Heading up the Sales and Account Management team which currently sits at around 20 people, reporting to the Commercial Director
  • Leading on the sales strategy, ensuring the sales team are aligned
  • Coaching and mentoring the commercial team
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of Marketing on all sales initiatives
  • Working closely with operations to ensure all contracts sold can be commercially delivered

Head of Sales – The Person:

We are looking for a high-level sales leader who can drive and inspire growth across the business. The relevant individual must have experience in selling contracts for outsourced business services.

  • Commercially astute with the ability to establish and grow client relationships
  • Ability to solve client’s problems and ensure deal closure
  • An exceptional communicator, you will thrive on negotiating deals and providing solutions to both smaller and larger clients
  • You will have a flair for leadership and the drive and ambition to take a hands-on role in the next stage of our client’s exceptional growth
  • You will have passion and hunger for leading and pursuing significant opportunities with clients
  • You will set the strategic direction for your area of responsibility, including the type of opportunities to pursue and the appropriate approach to use for each
