You will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality projects while managing a team of Project Managers., Take client briefs on mechanical projects and oversee project initiation stages.
Lead the tactical development and delivery of Capital Projects and MAC within a key account.
Grow the account organically within the allocated regional area.
Develop and maintain relationships with the Projects Team, key accounts, government operations, and external customers.
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and manage health & safety standards.
Oversee commercial governance, risk management, and P&L accountability.
Develop supply chain strategy and manage subcontractor relationships.
Coach and manage a team of 7, including 5 Project Managers, to deliver projects to high standards.
This role requires a strong technical background in M&E and proven expertise in managing complex projects across sectors such as R&D, pharma, manufacturing, or airports., The ideal candidate will have significant experience in pre-construction phases, commercial governance, and health & safety compliance, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills., Experience as a Senior Project Manager, ideally in M&E within airports, pharma, R&D, or manufacturing.
IOSH / NEBOSH certification and a recognised PM qualification (Prince2, APMP, PMP).
Degree/HNC or equivalent in a technical or management discipline.
Expertise in construction, engineering, or built environment.
Proven experience managing projects/programmes valued at £6m+.
Strong pre-construction experience, including estimating costs and tender documentation.
Demonstrable leadership and team management skills.
IT literacy with MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, A-Site, SharePoint).
Experience with high-pressure systems, clean rooms, and labs., Disability Confident
