Working closely with the Divisional Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of safe, compassionate, and high-quality care across our acute and emergency services. As a key member of the divisional leadership team, you will provide visible professional leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to our nursing teams across Ealing Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior nurse with a passion for excellence, innovation, and workforce development. You will be instrumental in embedding a culture of empowerment, collaboration and accountability across a large and complex division, ensuring our services remain responsive, safe and forward‑looking. If you are ready to lead with purpose and make a real difference across Medicine, Emergency and Therapies, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure an effective, efficient, high-quality service is delivered by competent, motivated nursing staff.
  • Demonstrate clinical credibility and act as a role model in the delivery of patient care.
  • Hold line reports to account for improving standards and delivery of their objectives in their clinical areas.
  • Monitor and assess clinical areas against CQC standards and key lines of enquiry, ensuring appropriate timely action if improvement is required.
  • Act as a clinical expert within the Division.
  • Promote the wellbeing and safety of all our patients and carers by acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately, according to the standards determined by our policy and procedures.
  • Ensure all posts working with vulnerable groups undergo an enhanced criminal records check upon appointment and staff provide consent for ongoing checks throughout employment.
